The Blue Days!

"Within some tribes in west Africa and far before most countries attained independence, women were treated as second-class and therefore took orders from their husbands as soldiers do with their superiors.

This painting shows a man giving instructions to his wife and she stands straight before him taking his orders.  She has a baby strapped on her back and therefore ready to do all what he says to her.

This system has all changed now, and thus this painting celebrates and remembers those days when women felt really blue about their servile life styles as being overruled almost like slaves by men.  Right now in those lands, women enjoy so much freedom to be what God has made them to be as nation builders not only in their villages but to the world as a whole."
