Agreement
The submission of artworks to this competition will constitute an agreement to all of the conditions in this prospectus. The artist understands that all possible precautions will be exercised to ensure the safety of works submitted and that The Arts League of Michigan and The Detroit Jazz Fest will not be held responsible for loss by fire, theft or other damage, whether caused by the negligence of its officers, members or others. By entering this competition, the artist grants The Arts League of Michigan and The Detroit Jazz Fest permission to reproduce accepted entries for publicity purposes and to reproduce work for posters and other products. All artworks must be available for sell. The artist will receive 60% of the price of the artwork and The Arts League of Michigan will retain 40%. Individuals purchasing your art can take possession of the purchased work at the end of the exhibit touring date and upon full payment of the artwork.
