The remaining pieces of the “Rock My Soul: The Black Legacy of Rock and Roll” collection
are viewable on the website and will remain posted throughout the auction.
The 21-piece collection was created in collaboration with The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and was made possible
by a grant from the Ford Motor Company. It traveled through Canada and the U.S. for six years. The original collection
represents the impressions of ten black, Michigan artists who were given the task of interpreting nine genres of music
ranging from West African and slave songs to Swing and Hip Hop. Call 313-965-8430 for more information.
