is a program of The Arts League
of Michigan in collaboration with Michigan State University College
of Music. The concert series, under the artistic direction of
Rodney Whitaker, Director of Jazz Studies at MSU, presents a variety
of musical styles performed by the Professors of Jazz @ MSU, the MSU
Jazz Orchestra I and Vocal Jazz Ensembles and special guests.
The Professors of Jazz @ MSU are supported by Michigan State
University and hold a residency with the Arts League of Michigan.

Jazz at the Center concerts are broadcast on WRCJ 90.9 FM
approximately one month following the concert. Hosted
by MSU alumna Karen Dumas and her co-host Rodney Whitaker;
the show highlights the music of the recent concert and
provide insight into the artists' performance and history of
