Carr Cultural Center Programs Calendar of Events Exhibits

The Arts League is committed to being recognized as the premier African and African American cultural arts center in the nation.  The organization is focused on increasing organization capacity, audience development, identity building, diverse programming, collaborations, volunteer development and community support.  The Arts League continues to assess ways to expand its breadth and scope in developing, presenting, promoting and preserving the African and African American cultural arts traditions.

Engaged in a three-year capital campaign, the Arts League is committed to develop a cultural arts center in Detroit.  The Virgil H.
